This week, the First Lady appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and spent time talking with Ellen about life at the White House, her work with Let’s Move! and the 5th anniversary of the initiative, and of course, Mrs. Obama encouraged Ellen to take part in the #GimmeFive challenge. The First Lady challenged Ellen to learn the steps to the #GimmeFive dance.

Ellen was ready to take on the challenge, and called out participants from the show So You Think You Can Dance to join her and the First Lady to debut the #GimmeFive dance. The First Lady also shared with Ellen that the So You Think You Can Dance All Stars will be bringing the dance to the White House Easter Egg Roll this year. Ellen then challenged everyone at home learn the #GimmeFive dance!

So what are you waiting for? Check out the dance, and take five minutes to learn it! Teach your family and friends and be sure to share on social media with #GimmeFive.

And don’t forget to tune in and join in on April 6th as everyone on the South Lawn performs the dance at the White House Easter Egg Roll!
